About Our League

The AMSL welcomes new players and teams to experience the ultimate in adult soccer leagues, the Atlanta Metro Soccer League.

The Atlanta Metro Soccer League was established in 1995 as the West Gwinnett Soccer Club Adult League. In the short time since the club was founded, we have expanded into 2 divisions, and players from across the globe, varying in skill level from former national team and professional players to high school and beginners. Our two Divisions offer skill levels for every player.

Creating an environment in which players can can continue to enjoy the game of soccer at all levels.

The AMSL was established for the specific purpose of developing a competitive over 30 (years of age) soccer program whose goals are to build the level of adult soccer in the Atlanta Metro area.

Achievement of these objectives within the appropriate environment can only be reached through the mature behavior and exemplary conduct of our players. Our relationship with the players must be of the highest ethical and moral standards and be based upon concern and just principles that ensure equitable treatment prevails in all circumstances.

An aggressive desire for victory combined with the procedural and graduated development of soccer skills is of paramount importance. Nevertheless, realization by all that soccer remains only a game is an inherent aspect of the philosophy of the Club that must always be recognized.
